On December 21, 2021, in Makarov, Sakhalin Region, the head of the Far Eastern Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, Vitaly Kaplunov, presented awards and prizes to the pupils of the State State Institution "Social Rehabilitation Center for Minors "Ogonek", who took part in the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business".

The results of the award were summed up by the head of Rosprirodnadzor Svetlana Radionova on November 25, 2021.

Participants from the State State Institution "Social Rehabilitation Center for minors "Ogonek" G. Makarov for their work in the nomination "Ecoproject" received diplomas of a special prize, a valuable gift - a laptop and souvenirs with the symbols of the award. The teacher and the director of the center were awarded thanks and souvenirs with the symbols of the award.

"Ecology is everyone's business" is the Rosprirodnadzor award for interesting, non-standard, creative ideas, initiatives, outstanding projects dedicated to environmental conservation, respect for nature, environmental education and popularization of eco-culture among young people aged 7 to 16 years. Victoria Abramchenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, became the Chairman of the competition commission. In six months, more than 9500 applications were received, 6000 works corresponding to the competition regulations were accepted. About 650 works were selected for the final of the award, which were included in the shortlist for the jury. All works are published on Rutube.

The main mission of the project is to popularize the theme of ecology and respect for nature, increase the level of ecological culture of children and youth.
