The author of the animation about gray whales "The Power of Love" Alexander Kuyantsev from the city of Korsakov, Sakhalin region, received a letter of thanks from the regional Duma. The award was presented by the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Ecology and Nature Management Yevgeny Lotin.

Korsakov's tenth-grader devotes his free time to drawing and animation. The student is actively studying the problem of mammals in the Piltun Bay of the Sea of Okhotsk, which are prevented from reaching the feed base by fishing nets.

"I have been analyzing the topic of whales for a long time, I consider it important. After all, this is a big problem! The project will definitely continue, " Alexander Kuyantsev said.
