Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Victoria Abramchenko became the Chairman of the jury of the international children's and youth award "Ecology is everyone's Business", which was established by Rosprirodnadzor. At a meeting of the board of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources, the head of Rosprirodnadzor, Svetlana Radionova, offered the Deputy Prime Minister to head the jury of the award, and Victoria Abramchenko agreed.
"Our supervisor, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, agreed with our initiative. Rosprirodnadzor is not just a punitive body. We are engaged in a lot of educational work and we believe that children are our future. Our main goal is that the best figure for a fine is zero, the best number of detected violations is zero if there are no violations. Therefore, we hope that children will show adults how to behave in the field of ecology, and adults will perceive this and behave more consciously, it will be such an incentive to action. The Deputy Prime Minister has agreed to head the jury of our award. I hope that this will have a great educational effect for us, we will get a new generation. It is a great honor for us," Svetlana Radionova said.
The Ecology - Everyone's Business Award was established in the spring of this year with the aim of involving children and adolescents from 7 to 16 years old in the environmental agenda, to encourage volunteer, public, environmental organizations, institutions of additional and general education, boarding schools and orphanages for their contribution to the preservation of the environment.
Currently, the award has received more than 2000 creative works. They were sent by schoolchildren from 76 Russian regions, as well as children from 13 countries of the near and far abroad. Several dozen works came from Italy, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, South Korea, Poland, Estonia, Moldova, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Abkhazia.
Today, in the top five in terms of the number of participants among the regions and cities of Russia: Moscow, Krasnodar Territory, Moscow Region, Rostov Region and Novosibirsk region. Applications for the award were sent by schoolchildren from all regions of the Central, Siberian, Ural Federal Districts and the Crimea. More than a quarter of all works came from the regions of the Central Federal District.
To participate in the award, children need to upload their works to social networks or Rutube and submit an application to the award website by October 1, 2021 www.экологияделокаждого.Russian Federation. Environmental activities can be made in different genres and forms - videos, drawings, cartoons, photos. In the works, it is important to show the need for a careful attitude to nature and the environment. Works are accepted in 12 categories: "Let's save the planet together", "My eco-family is my team", "Young eco-blogger", "Ecotrends", "Eco-school", "Ecoproject", "Ecorisunok", "Ecofocus", "Ecomultfilm", "Ecovolonter", "Young eco-journalist", "Ecology in the world". Another, 13 nomination is intended for the media for the best coverage of the award "Ecology is everyone's business" - the most active journalists will also be encouraged.
The results of the award will be summed up in Moscow on November 24, 2021. The winners and laureates will receive valuable prizes - certificates for the implementation of eco-projects, family trips to the Black Sea. The best will go to a field environmental camp in the All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok".
